Our Business Office/Records Department is
operated by one full time Administrative
Assistant/Records Manager and one part-time/full
time Records Tech.
The Administrative Assistant/Records Manager is
responsible for the daily operation of the business
office and records department. Also supervises one
part-time/fulltime Records Tech.
The Records Tech assists the Administrative
Assistant/Records Manager with the daily operation
of the business office and records department.
Accident Reports
Accident Reports are considered confidential and
only will be released to those individuals having
the proper interest in accordance with RCW 46.52.080
and RCW 46.52.083. A fee of up to $5.00 will be
charged for this report.
State citizen accident report forms are available
free of charge.
Incident Reports
Incident reports, investigative reports and
miscellaneous documents are released in accordance
with RCW 42.56, RCW 10.97 and RCW 13.50. A statute
and explanation will be given for records that are
exempt from public disclosure. A fifteen-cent (.15)
fee per page may be charged for these documents.
Concealed Pistol Licenses/Firearms Dealers
Licenses
Applications for concealed pistol license and
firearms dealers' license may be obtained Monday
through Thursdays from 7:30 A.M. until 4:30 P.M.
Fridays from 7:00 A.M. until 3:30 P.M. closed from
12:00 until 1:00. Service for these applications is
for Cle Elum, So. Cle Elum and Roslyn residents
only. All out lying areas with Cle Elum addresses
must apply with the Kittitas County Sheriff's
Department.
A fee is collected upon application, which is
non-refundable if the application is denied. A first
time permit requires one set of fingerprints by
appointment only.
The fee for these permits are as follows:
- $ 55.25 CPL Original (first time permit)
- $ 32.00 CPL Renewals (if the permit hasn't
exceeded the expiration date)
- $ 42.00 CPL Late Renewals (if the permit
hasn't exceeded past 90 days)
- $ 10.00 CPL Replacement Permit
- $125.00 Annual Firearms Dealer's License
Dog License
Ordinance 6.04.020 states that all dogs in the
city limits of Cle Elum must be licensed and
registered if over 3 months of age. Proof of rabies
inoculations is required. The license shall expire
on December 31st of each calendar year. Starting
January 2nd of each calendar year a new license may
be purchased for the current year. The license may
be purchased at the police department Monday through
Thursdays from 7:30 A.M. until 4:30 P.M. Fridays
from 7:00 A.M. until 3:30 P.M. closed from 12:00
until 1:00.
The fee for this license is as follows:
- $ 7.50 1st dog spayed/neutered
- $ 10.00 1st dog not spayed/neutered
- $ 10.00 2nd dog spayed/neutered
- $ 13.00 2nd dog not spayed/neutered
- $ 27.00 3rd & 4th dog spayed/neutered
- $ 32.00 3rd & 4th dog not spayed/neutered
Paper Service
Paper service is limited to the City of Cle Elum,
City of Roslyn and Town of South Cle Elum. A fee is
collected upon request and a return of service is
completed and returned to the court or rightful
owner. The fee for service is $25.00.
Fingerprinting
Fingerprints are done on Wednesdays from 9:00
A.M. until 11:30 A.M. and 1:30 P.M. until 3:00 P.M.,
by appoint only. The fee for one set of fingerprints
is $10.00.
