Business Licenses
The City of Cle Elum requires all businesses to
pay an annual business license fee as provided in
the Cle Elum Municipal Code, Ordinance 1249. A
business is defined as any person, firm or
corporation who, for pay, hire or profit, furnishes
the materials or machinery or equipment to be used
in carrying out any work, business or profession and
uses, applies or operates such materials, machinery
or equipment therein, whether for wages, unit
prices, total job price, or otherwise. Applications
for licenses may be obtained at City Hall. Please
refer to the Cle Elum Municipal Code for details
regarding descriptions and requirements for
businesses.
