Burn Ban In Effect City Wide
The City of Cle Elum has imposed a full burn ban that took effect August 4, 2010. A full burn ban means no open flame of any kind including charcoal briquette and wood fired BBQ’s. The only exception is natural gas or propane fired BBQ’s. This burn ban will remain in effect until further notice.

Wastewater Plant Wins Again
The City of Cle Elum has been awarded the Department of Ecology 2009 Outstanding Performance Award. This is the biggest honor that the DOE gives out making this the second year in a row. The award was received in 2005, 2008, and 2009.
